Is a type of immunotherapy that aims to treat cancer by boosting the immune system's ability to recognize and attack cancer cells. The vaccine is made by collecting white blood cells from the patient's body and then exposing them to a protein found on the surface of cancer cells. This exposure activates the white blood cells, turning them into killer cells that target and attack cancer cells.
The activated killer cells are then multiplied in the laboratory and injected back into the patient's body to attack the cancer cells.
