Vulval cancer

Is a type of cancer that affects the external female genitalia, including the labia, clitoris, and vaginal opening. It is a rare cancer and often occurs in older women, although it can affect women of any age.
The most common symptom of vulval cancer is a lump or sore on the vulva that does not heal, or it may cause itching, burning, or pain. Other symptoms can include bleeding or discharge from the vulva, and changes in the skin color or texture of the vulva.

Treatment options for vulval cancer depend on the stage and location of the cancer, as well as the patient's overall health. Common treatments include surgery to remove the affected tissue, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. In some cases, a combination of treatments may be used.
